About Us
Kimmy-Lou Dog Wear operates out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is owned and operated by Kymn Keating.
Originally, Kymn hailed from St. John's, Newfoundland but moved to Halifax to attend
Dalhousie University. She graduated from the theatre department's Costume Studies
Programme specializing in 18th century period costumes and Museology. Since then she has
found employment collaborating on more than fifty productions for theatre, television, and film.
Currently, most Kimmy-Lou sewing is contracted out to the skilled
stitchers that Kymn has worked with over the last 15 years, but she continues to oversee production and
still has a hand in the design process.
She would like to thank her furry friends who inspired this venture, especially Mnà, the sometimes reluctant model.
